Tinjauan Utusan Borneo di Bazar Ramadan Bina Mara semalam mendapati ia menjadi bazar yang gemar dikunjungi pelancong luar negara kerana lokasinya yang strategik serta berdekatan dengan pusat bandar. George Reid, 20 dari Scotland berkata, pengalaman bercuti selama tiga minggu di Sarawak akan menjadi pengalaman yang paling indah dalam hidupnya kerana berkesempatan merasai suasana Ramadan di Malaysia. "Saya memang mengambil keputusan untuk bercuti lama di sini (Kuching) iaitu selama tiga minggu dan tidak menyangka rupanya masyarakat Islam kini menyambut Ramadan. "Jadi, saya berkesempatan melihat sendiri suasana berpuasa di sini dan sering berjalan ke bazar yang berbeza setiap hari untuk melihat juadah tempatan yang dijual di bazar," katanya ketika ditemui. Jelas George, beliau tidak sabar untuk kembali ke negaranya sendiri dan menceritakan pengalaman manis ketika mengunjungi bazar Ramadan sepanjang berada di Kuching. Kasper Hermansen, 22, yang berasal dari Denmark pula berkata pengalaman mengunjungi bazar Ramadan merupakan sesuatu yang baharu dalam hidupnya. "Saya tidak pernah mengunjungi pameran makanan seumpama ini sebelum ini dan ini merupakan pengalaman pertama saya. "Masyarakat di sini menunjukkan perpaduan yang sangat saya kagumi di mana melalui aktiviti menjual makanan di bawah satu gerai, mereka juga pada masa sama menunjukkan sikap toleransi serta berkongsi kemahiran dalam berniaga," katanya. Selain itu, dia juga menyifatkan aktiviti jualan bazar itu menjadikan kita sebagai masyarakat yang menerima budaya yang pelbagai menerusi jualan makanan yang bermacam-macam yang ada dijual di bazar Ramadan. Sementara itu, Ali Reza Seyedah Ahmadian, 26 dari Iran berkata, bazar Ramadan merupakan tempat dia dan rakan-rakan berkongsi juadah kegemaran. "Berbeza dengan Iran, Kuching banyak menyediakan juadah makanan yang saya rasakan sangat pelbagai seperti nasi ayam penyet dan kek lapis yang semestinya menjadi kegemaran saya dan rakan-rakan. "Kalau di Iran, saya menggemari Cholo Kebab Kobider iaitu sejenis makanan kebab nasi yang bersalutkan sos tomato barbeku… tetapi di sini, banyak juadah yang saya boleh pilih setiap hari," jelasnya.
